- Is ACCESS available as open
source?
Yes and no. Open source
components and customizable reports can be made available as
open source. The rest will be in compiled state.
- What is the minimum
requirements to run the system?
Stating the minimum may not
sound practical but the answer to the question: "how much
can you afford for a CPU?" may have a better answer. We
recommend ACCESS to be installed with at least 1GB RAM, 20GB
HDD, 2Ghz processor. Whatever you can add to the specs may
directly increase the performance of ACCESS.
- What software are needed to
run ACCESS?
On the server, ACCESS can run
on IIS or Apache(recommended) with PHP 5 and MySQL 5 on
either Windows(r) or Linux or BSD operating system. Other
libraries may be required depending on the operating system.
For the users, an Internet browser (Mozilla Firefox
recommended) will suffice.

covered by the agreement. The school can have the option
to prolong or send personnel for training. Training

assumed that users are familiar with the use of the
computer and the Internet.
